Two Incidents - Hob Cote Lane, Oakworth BD22

Dear Resident,

We have received reports of two crimes that took place between the evening of 11/01/2026 and morning of 12/01/2026 both on Hob Cote Lane, Oakworth.

The first was a report of an attempted garage burglary, the suspects managed to partly force open a garage door but were unable to fully open it due to a vehicle being parked immediately in front of it. The suspects also attempted to break into that vehicle by bending back the door but failed to gain entry. Nothing has been reported stolen but damage was caused. The second incident involved the attempted theft from a white Ford Transit van parked at the roadside on Hob Cote Lane. The unidentified suspects attempted to enter the vehicle by partly bending back the rear door. There was nothing left in the van to steal and the suspects made off unseen and empty handed.
